Chaak Tun

Overview

Descend into the Mayan underworld at two underground cenotes (freshwater sinkhole). The stalactites and stalagmites as you swim and snorkel on the crystalline waters. Visit an altar made by the Mayans, and learn about the underworld they called ‘Xibalba’. Activity duration: 3 hours (not including transportation time to and from activity). Published rate: 75 USD per person.
